The Saltbox has been a family owned business since 1998. We pride ourselves in custom made creations. If you are looking for unique accent lighting you have come to the right place. We have created a wide variety of everlasting oil lights, electrified glass containers, and battery light arrangements to add that decorative accent for any room of your home.
Two years ago we decided to add more accent lighting to our line. Therefore, we started electrifying wooden bowls and decorated and lighted wine bottles. They both have been well received because of the Tuscan decorating being ever so popular and the bowls can be changed out for the different seasons.
We take our business on the road and attend approximately 20-25 juried art/craft shows in the Midwest in the spring and fall season. There are several electric lights that cannot be sold on our website due to the fact some are one of a kind, or too fragile to ship. Our business started out with my painting old primitive pieces. For the most part these, too, are only sold at the shows we attend. We are hoping to branch out within the next year to more shows out East, so watch our show schedule for future additions.
